Taiwan’s Tourism Bureau is counting on Show Luo’s appeal with foreign tourists. Show Luo has fans all over the world and this appeal has landed the CPop star a very lucrative endorsement deal. For NT$75 Million, his image will be featured in tourism marketing materials and the singer will take part in a fan meet and a bike trip. They’re estimating that upwards of 2,500 international fans will travel for Show Luo’s fan meet alone. The singer has already participated in a photo shoot for the campaign and was quoted by Xin MSN as saying: Show prided himself as a born and bred Taiwanese and sang praises of his country’s cuisine while learning to make the renowned Taiwanese bubble tea. He said, “No other place in the world serves better food than the night markets here.” Looks like Show Luo’s role in the Chinese blockbuster film Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons has opened up even more opportunities in his already dazzling career. That hasn’t stopped Show Luo from pursuing causes he feels strongly about. One of these causes is stray animals. An animal shelter he has invested heavily in is due to open in two months time.
