Hangeng is a part of new celebrity-centric reality show, Stars In Danger: The High Dive, which follows idols in China/Taiwan as they learn to master the high dive. Recently, Hangeng took a dive from a hand-stand, resulting in hitting the water face first, causing him to faint and lose consciousness. Television crew members and emergency staff rushed to his aid, jumping in the waters to pull Hangeng out. As the reached the edge of the pool, Hangeng woke up, helping the responders lift his weight out of the pool, proving that he is very strong and determined to do well on the show
